Enlightenment of “Temporary License” in US or “Provisional Registration” in UK to China's Medical Licensing Examination

Abstract: China's Medical Licensing Examination is the legal entrance exam for medical students to obtain medical license. Currently, there is no legal protection for medical students' clinical practice, and the contradiction between clinical practice and legal practice still exists. Different systems on medical graduates' clinical practice in the US, the UK and China are compared and analyzed in this paper, and the enlightenment of “temporary license” or “provisional registration” is a potential approach to solve the problem in China.
