Abstract: Objective To evaluate the current situation of curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness education in medical colleges and identify its influencing factors. Methods A network questionnaire survey was conducted among 311 faculty members in a medical college in Heilongjiang Province. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis was applied to identify and analyze the influencing factors of their curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness education. Results Among 311 faculty members, 197 (63.3%) were able to implement the delivery of this module. The regression analysis results showed that the time for curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness (Wald χ2=12.962,P<0.05,OR<1) and the importance attached by the teaching and research office (Wald χ2=15.471,P<0.05,OR<1) were the protective factors. Conclusions It is common for faculty members in medical colleges to integrate political and virtuous awareness into the medical curriculum. The earlier it has started and the higher the attention was given by the teaching and research office of the teachers, and the more times will be allotted to the delivery.
