Current education status and strategy for reformation in major training of health service and management

Abstract: Health industry is on the way of rapid development, but there is still a big gap between health service and management professionals. In this paper, the current education situation of health service and management professionals in China were reviewed, and the existing problems were identified and analyzed. The problems include insufficient supporting environment, lagging talent training, vague professional orientation and insufficient practical teaching capacity of faculty, etc. Finally, some countermeasures and suggestions were put forward, such as strengthening macro-policy support, innovating talent training mode and strengthening practical training.
