Abstract: Developing prevention strategies and public health awareness is the essential for undergraduates in medical school. However, the separation of clinical medicine and public health and the isolation of public health education in some colleges have affected the realization of this essential requirement. To strengthen the public health education of clinical students, public health education in the curriculum was put forward as a teaching strategy that learning of public health is logically integrated into clinical curriculum. To carry out it, colleges and universities should establish an effective implementation pathway. The faculty of clinical medicine should enhance their own awareness of public health and improve teaching quality in terms of suitable teaching materials and pedagogy of public health education.
