Need analysis of professional Chinese learning for MBBS students and teaching countermeasures

摘要: 在总结国内医科来华留学生汉语教学的基础上,借鉴专门用途英语中的需求分析理论,进行了针对临床医学专业(英语授课)(BachelorofMedicineandBachelorofSurgery,MBBS)留学生的专业汉语学习需求分析。通过问卷调查和个人访谈,将定量研究与定性研究相结合,分析了MBBS留学生汉语学习需求。结果 显示,MBBS留学生的汉语学习兴趣和需求集中在日常交际、医患沟通和医学词汇等方面,在教学中应当注重实用性和真实性,以听说能力的提升带动专业汉语学习效果的改善。

Abstract: On the basis of summarizing the situation of Chinese teaching for foreign medical students,this paper analyzes the needs of professional Chinese learning for MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) students by referring to the demand analysis theory in English for specialized use.Through questionnaires and personal interviews,quantitative research and qualitative research were combined to analyze the Chinese learning needs of MBBS students.The results show that the Chinese studying interest and needs of MBBS students are concentrated in daily communication,doctor-patient communication and medical vocabulary.In teaching,practicality and authenticity should be paid more attention,and the improvement of listening and speaking ability will lead to the improvement of Chinese learning.
