Abstract: This study aimed to analysis the pass rate (PR) in examination of doctors' qualification (EDQ) of the graduates in non-traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) colleges and university in 2013-2015 and to compare their ability. The data showed, the total PR of the TCM program in recent three years was 60.41%, 60.28%, 60.62%. The top one was 93.55%,90.00%,90.53%, the lowest was 34.04%,20.00%,27.74%. The total PR of the integrated Chinese and western medicine program in recent three years was 51.76%, 47.52%, 54.84%. The top one was 83.33%,75.86%,84.55%, the lowest was 25.00%,18.67%,24.15%. There was big disparity in the PR in the non-TCM colleges and universities. Although there are many colleges and universities set TCM related programs, but few have TCM physician training ability. Taking the PR as an index to evaluate the physician training ability among the non-TCM colleges and universities is helpful to them on setting TCM related programs, discipline construction and development.
