Abstract: Training of residents and junior technicians in laboratory medicine is a typical adult education. With purpose to improve the training effect, this paper discusses how to integrate self-directed learning and experience-driven learning into curriculum implementation. Educators should carry out theoretical teaching under rule of learning cycle and involving theoretical teaching with skill training. By adopting multiple stage assessment and evaluation, we can build a reflective learning environment with equal emphasis on support and motivation.
