Practice of teaching reform in medical genetics as the national first-class undergraduate course

Abstract: Medical genetics is the science to study the occurrence and pathogenesis of human genetic diseases.For meeting and adapting the change of society's demand for medical talents,Medical Genetics Teaching Team of Gansu Medical College carried out a series of effective teaching reforms:cultivating students' innovation consciousness through classroom teaching; training students' innovative thinking through taking into scientific research; improving students' innovation ability point through engage in social practice; stimulating the innovative spirit of students through information-based teaching as a carrier. The teaching reform has developing the construction of national first-class undergraduate course of medical genetics, and its experiences can also provide some references for the construction of medical genetics in the similar universities.
