Abstract: Oral-maxillofacial-neck topographic anatomy is an important course for undergraduates learning stomatology, which should closely link to clinical practice. In the passed three years, the teaching team from Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology reformed the dissection course guided by a clinical oriented principle to support autonomic learning and collaborative education among students. The teaching reform included a rearrangement of the curriculum, a newly developed laboratory manual oriented by routine oral-maxillofacial surgery operation with detailed instruction and supplementary images, and the teaching methodology was optimized. This reform has been proved to facilitate students' learning and understanding the three-dimensional relationship of anatomy structure.
