Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of case-based learning based on WeChat public platform in standardized training of diabetes link nurse. Methods An experimental control method was used. 56 diabetes link nurses under standardized training program in the third affiliated hospital of Sun Yet-sen University from June 2015 and June 2016 were randomized into experimental group and control group. The experimental group was taught by case-based learning based on WeChat public platform, and the control group was taught by traditional teaching method. The effect of different training methods on diabetes link nurses' comprehensive ability was analyzed. Results The diabetes knowledge scores in experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (t=9.52,P<0.01).The scores of insulin injection skill in experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (t=7.23,P<0.01).The scores of glucose monitoring skill in experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (t=11.93,P<0.01). The patient management, specialized performance, specialist guidance, teamwork and feedback of experimental group were significantly superior to those in the control group(all P<0.01).Conclusions Case-based learning based on WeChat public platform improved the diabetic knowledge, specialized operating performance and management behavior, which is worthy of further exploration and promotion.
