Enlightenment of American medical education system reform on undergraduate clinical medical education in China

Abstract: The American medical education system is the model of western medical education. The research on the latest reform and trends in the United States has certain reference significance for medical education in China. This article mainly introduces the four aspects of the latest reform of American medical education:The reform of curriculum system, the reform of clinical probation, the change of examination for medical practitioners and the reform of humanities curriculum. The article also discusses the enlightenment of the above reform contents to the clinical education of undergraduates in China, in order to provide some valuable references for the reformation of clinical medical education in our country.
