The application of virtual reality technology based on optical motion capture technique in the teaching of cardiovascular medicine

摘要: 目前,我国心血管内科学的教学仍然存在一些不足,如教学手段单调、教学形式单一、实践操作相对欠缺等,导致教学效果不甚理想,学生无法将医学理论与临床实践有效结合,且动手能力较差。基于光学动作捕捉技术的虚拟现实技术可以通过仿真3D内容,使医学生在临床技能操作中眼手合一,满足其对实践技能练习的需求,实现实时互动,提高学生参与教学的积极性。本文阐述了基于光学动作捕捉技术的虚拟现实技术的发展现状与技术特点、心血管内科学教学中存在的不足,探讨了这项技术在心血管内科学教学中的应用效果。

Abstract: The teaching of cardiovascular medicine in China are facing challenges like monotonous teaching content and methods, single teaching form, less training for practical operation and so on, which lead to unsatisfactory teaching effect. Students are unable to combine medical theory with clinical practice effectively, and their operational skill is not well trained. The virtual reality technology based on optitrack motion capture can integrate the eye vision and hand operation of students in clinical skill training through the simulation of 3D content, so as to meet the needs for practical skill practice, real-time interaction and stimulating learning enthusiasm of students. This paper reviewed the development status and technical characteristics of virtual reality technology based on optical motion capture technique, as well as the weakness existing in the teaching of cardiovascular medicine, and discussed the application of this technology in the teaching of cardiovascular medicine.
