运用扎根理论探讨医学生专业选择动机的模型

The discussion of motivation model of medical student major choice based on grounded theory

摘要: 为了进一步优化人才培养模式,使医学生更好地形成职业身份,齐齐哈尔医学院对医学生入学前的专业选择动机进行了研究。采用开放式问卷,就“您为什么选择学医?”这个问题,对齐齐哈尔医学院1207名医学生的专业选择动机进行了调查。基于扎根理论研究方法,采用Nvivo11质性分析软件,对调查结果数据进行三级编码分析。通过研究发现,医学生的专业选择动机模型主要分为盲目选择型、功利驱动型、服从他人型、兴趣爱好型、自我实现型5个类型。通过针对不同动机分型的分析,医学院校要根据医学生不同的入学动机,有针对性地采用不同的教育方式,帮助医学生将动机内化为学习动力;同时,该研究结果也为高等医学院校教育改革提供了理论依据。

Abstract: In order to further optimize talent training model and make medical student better form professional identification, Qiqihar Medical University studied the motivation of medical students major choice before entrance. Through open-ended questionnaire asking students why they choose medicine, a survey was conducted on motivation of major choice for 1207 students. Based on grounded theory, the software named CAQDAS Nvivo11 was used to conduct Level 3 code analysis. Through the study, it was found that motivation models of medical student major choice can mainly be divided into five types: blind choice model, utilitarian model, obedience model, hobby model and self-actualization model.Through analysis for different motivations, the university will conduct particular education for different students, helping them transform motivation into learning power. Meanwhile, the research result can provide theoretical foundation for higher medical education reform.
