Evaluation of the performance appraisal system for resident standardized training teachers

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the application effect of the performance appraisal system of the resident standardized training teachers. Methods From January to December, 2019, based on the hospital resident training management information system of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, the performance appraisal results of 603 resident standardized training teachers were selected. The scores of the base directors, residents and management personnel were analyzed, and the comprehensive performance evaluation scores were calculated. Results The performance evaluation scores of the base director, resident and management department for the resident standardized training teachers are [90(85, 95)], [100(98,100)], [69.0(54.6, 79.4)]. The comprehensive performance evaluation score of teachers is [82.6(77.4,87.6)]. Conclusions The evaluation results are basically consistent with other literature reports. The performance evaluation index system of resident standardized training teachers has certain representativeness and objectivity, which can effectively evaluate the main work and teaching effect of resident standardized training teachers.
