Curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness exploration of nutrition and food hygiene course based on case teaching

Abstract: Curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness is based on various professional courses as the carrier, and implements the important educational concept of the fundamental task of cultivating people. The development of curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness in nutrition and food hygiene courses is an important means of cultivating and improving students' professional quality. Taking the chapter on food safety as an example, through expert interviews and collective lesson preparation, multi-dimension excavation and selection of relevant elements, this study explains the design and implementation of course political and virtuous awareness elements in the case teaching of nutrition and food hygiene, and uses questionnaires to evaluate the teaching effect. It was found that among the 46 students, 39(84.8%) students believed that the case analysis method in the political and virtuous awareness course can play a good role in inspiring; 35(76.1%) students believed that each case was related to the political and virtuous awareness elements. The educational goals are highly matched; 35(76.1%) students believe that the it has deepened their understanding of professionalism; 34(73.9%) students believe that the it has increased their attention to food safety-related events. It can be seen that the use of political and virtuous awareness education in nutrition and food hygiene case teaching has been widely recognized by students, and the implementation effect is good, which can be further promoted.
