Abstract: The application of massive open online courses (MOOC) in higher medical education is becoming more and more widespread, the evaluation of medical MOOC has raised considerable concern. Thus the medical MOOC evaluation index system has constructed in 4 steps. First, the evaluation module of medical MOOC is determined based on literature research. Second, the evaluation elements of medical MOOC are extracted through case study. On this basis, the construction of index system is completed through Delphi method, and finally the index weights were calculated via yaahp software. The medical MOOC evaluation index system consists of 5 primary indicators and 13 secondary indicators and their weights as well as 26 points of concern. The construction of the medical MOOC evaluation index system is guided by experts through two rounds of consultation questionnaires, the Cronbach's alpha of which were 0.822 and 0.910 respectively, and the content validity coefficient were 0.974 and 0.923 respectively. The index system has a certain degree of reliability and validity and can provide some reference for medical schools to carry out medical MOOC construction and evaluation.
