Development of information literacy evaluation tool for nursing teachers in colleges and universities

Abstract: Objective To develop an evaluation tool for information literacy of nursing teachers in colleges and universities. Methods The first draft of evaluation tools is drawn up based on literature analysis, relevant policy documents,guidance and framework of teachers' educational information technology capability.Use Delphi method to determine the index content of evaluation tools, and use analytic hierarchy process to calculate index weight. Results The effective recovery rate of the three rounds of expert correspondence questionnaires was 100.0%,and the expert authority coefficient was 0.88.Finally, 4 primary indicators, 13 secondary indicators and 45 tertiary indicators were established to evaluate the information literacy of nursing teachers in colleges and universities. Conclusions A scientific, suitable and feasible evaluation tool with concise and clear index content was developed,which can provide reference for the effective evaluation of information literacy of nursing teachers in colleges and universities.
