摘要: 基于问题学习(problem-based learning,PBL)是20世纪中后期起源于北美地区医学教育的重要教学理念和模式。本文在医学教育史视域下,介绍了PBL产生的历史背景、涉及的重要人物和事件、在全球广泛推广和实践的过程,讨论了PBL的特点及其与传统教学的区别,厘清了我国学界对PBL的若干误区,以期为我国医学教育改革的探索提供参考。

Abstract: Problem-based learning (PBL) is an important teaching theory and model in the field of medical education, dating back to the mid-20th century. Under the scope of history of medical education, this paper introduces the historical background which fostered PBL, related important figures and events, and the process of its worldwide spread and practice, discusses the characteristic of PBL and its difference compared with the traditional teaching method, and clarifies certain misunderstanding held by academia, so as to provide reference to current medical education reform in China.
