实验动物伦理教育在外科学总论实验课程中的应用探索

摘要: 目的 探讨在外科学总论实验课程中进行实验动物伦理教育的应用效果,为改进实验动物伦理教育提供参考。方法 2022年10月,以武汉大学2019级和2020级临床医学专业学生为研究对象,将已接受实验动物伦理教育的2019级学生作为试验组,还未接受实验动物伦理教育的2020级学生作为对照组,通过问卷调查和座谈会结果评价两组学生对实验动物伦理认知的情况。数据分析采用χ2检验。结果 试验组98人和对照组138人中,分别有94人(95.9%)和119人(86.2%)认为加强实验动物伦理教育有利于培养良好医德,其差异具有统计学意义(P=0.013);42人(42.9%)和55人(39.9%)了解实验动物的相关法规,38人(38.8%)和44人(31.9%)了解实验动物福利问题,73人(74.5%)和102人(73.9%)认为学校有必要开设实验动物伦理相关课程,其差异均无统计学意义(均P>0.05)。通过座谈会可知,学生对实验动物伦理教育基本满意。结论 实验动物伦理教育有助于学生伦理素养的培养,但是学生对实验动物伦理相关知识的认知有待提高。学校应加快实验动物伦理课程体系建设。

Abstract: Objective To explore the effectiveness of the application of laboratory animal ethics education in general surgery laboratory course and to provide a reference for improving laboratory animal ethics education. Methods In October 2022, clinical medicine students in the 2019 class and clinical medicine students in the 2020 class of the Second Clinical College of Wuhan University were used as the subjects of the study, and students in the 2019 class had received laboratory animal ethics education as the experimental group, while students in the 2020 class had not received laboratory animal ethics education as the control group, and were evaluated through questionnaires.The data were analyzed using chi-square test, and a symposium was organized to further understand students′ views on laboratory animal ethics education. Results The results of the questionnaire survey showed that 94(95.9%) and 119(86.2%) of the 98 students in the experimental group and 138 students in the control group, respectively, thought that strengthening laboratory animal ethics education was conducive to the cultivation of good medical ethics, with a statistically significant difference (P=0.013), 42(42.9%) and 55(39.9%) students were aware of the relevant regulations on laboratory animals, 38(38.8%) and 44(31.9%) students were aware of laboratory animal welfare issues, and 73(74.5%) and 102(73.9%) students thought it was necessary for the school to offer courses related to laboratory animal ethics, with no statistically significant differences (all P>0.05). After the analysis of the symposium, students were basically satisfied with the laboratory animal ethics education. Conclusions The laboratory animal ethics education contributes to the development of ethical literacy of students, and the knowledge of students about ethics of laboratory animals and the construction of our laboratory animal ethics curriculum system need to be improved.
