2000年至2020年我国医学英语翻译教材的发展研究

摘要: 当前许多医学院校都面向不同专业的医学生和英语专业(医学英语方向)的学生开设了医学英语翻译课程,医学英语翻译教材种类繁多,然而有关医学英语翻译教材的研究尚未引起研究者的重视。本文对我国2000年1月至2020年4月出版的39本医学英语翻译教材进行归类分析,发现教材编写理念缺乏创新、无法满足不同学习者的需求、教材理论构建尚待加强、教材结构立体化不足等问题,建议更新教材编写理念、加强师生需求分析、重视医学翻译理论构建、加强教材立体化,进而促进医学英语翻译教材质量的提高。

Abstract: At present many medical schools offer medical English translation courses for students. Many types of medical English translation textbooks have been published in China in the past two decades. However, little research has been done on those books. By reviewing 39 medical English translation textbooks published in China from 2000 to 2020, some problems have been found: few innovative pedagogical approaches have been adopted, book contents cannot meet the needs of different readers, little attention has been paid to the construction of systematic medical translation theory, and some indispensable ancillary instructional materials are not available. To improve the quality of medical translation textbooks, the recommendations are as follows:The book compilers should incorporate cutting edge research into book compiling, study the needs of the readers, attach importance to the construction of medical translation theory, and the teaching materials in the textbook should be more comprehensive.
