摘要： 作为一门针对特定学习者的特殊需求而开设的英语课程,专门用途英语(English for specific purposes, ESP)课程的教学目的明确,注重培养和提高学生的英语实际交际能力。本文结合ESP课程特点其及教学原则,介绍了海军军医大学研究生ESP课程体系的基本构成、教学理念与特色,并对今后的医学类ESP课程建设提出了改进意见,如基于需求分析的课程体系与教学模块设置、多学科融合、移动媒体介入、优化师资配置等。

Abstract: English for specific purposes(ESP) course has a clearly-defined education purpose and focuses on training and developing students' capability of extensive communication with English. Based on the characteristics of ESP course and its teaching principles, this paper introduces the components and teaching practice of ESP curriculum for graduates in the Naval Medical University, and puts forward suggestions for improving ESP course design for medical education in the future, including the establishment of curriculum and ESP modules based on needs, multi-disciplinary integration, mobile media support and optimal allocation of teacher resources.
