寓患者安全教育于护理学基础课程教学的效果初探

Integrating patient safety education into the teaching of fundamental nursing course for the undergraduate nursing students

摘要: 目的 研究在护理学专业学生护理学基础课程中融入患者安全教育内容, 对学生患者安全知识、态度和技能的影响。方法 选取四川地区某高校护理学院2014级四年制75名护理学专业学生为研究对象,通过在“护理学基础”课程教学中采用专题讲授患者安全、在教学内容中分析并强化患者安全要素、增加警示案例学习等方法进行教学改革,提高学生的患者安全知识、态度和技能,并在授课前后采用患者安全知识、态度、技能问卷对学生进行问卷调查。结果 课程结束后学生在医疗差错相关知识、医疗差错发生后我该怎么做、患者安全的个人态度维度评分均高于课程开始前,差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.01)。结论 寓患者安全教育于护理学专业学生护理学基础课程,提高了学生的患者安全知识、态度和技能。

Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of integrating patient safety education into the teaching of “fundamental nursing” course for the undergraduate nursing students in terms of knowledge, attitude and skills about patient safety. Methods Seventy five undergraduate nursing students from a top medical school in Sichuan were enrolled in this study. The concept of patient safety and its related information were integrated into the teaching of “fundamental nursing” course using lecturing, key safety elements analysis for different nursing skills, and the safety warning case study. The patient safety knowledge, attitudes, and skills questionnaire (APSQ) were administered before and after the course. Results The pre-course questionnaire scores in the dimensions of “medical errors related knowledge”, “what should I do when medical error occurred”, and “personal attitude of patient safety” were higher than the post-course Questionnaire scores(all P<0.01). Conclusions Integrating patient safety education to the teaching of “fundamental nursing”course can effectively improve undergraduate nursing students' patient safety knowledge, attitudes and skills with regard to certain dimensions, however, more studies are needed to further confirm the results.
