Abstract: Obstetrics and gynecology is a highly specialized subject. However, traditional anatomy teaching method for obstetrics and gynecology depends primarily on texts and pictures and is therefore relatively abstract and difficult to understand, while it's clinical skills training is also limited by the lack of opportunities and low security for practice. With the development of digitization technologies, the application of augmented reality (AR) technology in medical education is becoming increasingly expansive. Based on the current situation of obstetrics and gynecology teaching and the latest research progress of AR technology in medical education, this paper analyses the application prospect of AR technology in obstetrics and gynecology anatomy teaching, clinical diagnosis skills training and surgical training, trying to provide new ideas for the development of obstetrics and gynecology teaching.
