Abstract: The reform of the personnel system is an important part of the reform of medical schools. This research collected the data from the faculty in new systems through interviews to find the status of external dynamic factors on professional development and thus to provide a basis for the formulation of school reform programs. Results showed that the faculty in new systems is satisfied with the external dynamic factors, and put forward the problems such as insufficient orientation guidance for of academic research, team building, attention of medical humanities and confusion about the evaluation system. It is suggested that it is important to strengthen medical humanities with efforts to break bottle necks in the faculty development, optimize current system and construct a platform.
