Investigation and countermeasure analysis on the job burnout of teachers in medical university

Abstract: Objective To understand the situation of medical university teachers' job burnout and influence factors, then puts forward corresponding countermeasures.Methods 300 teachers were chosen to survey, the results were analyzed and the countermeasures were discussed.Results The teachers' average score of Maslach Burnout Inventory was (2.29±0.32), indicating a certain degree of job burnout phenomenon. Emotional exhaustion was relatively severe by fractional dimension. The key factors that influence the job burnout were work seniority and whether to undertake clinical work.Conclusions A certain degree of burnout phenomenon is widespread among the medical universities teachers. This phenomenon has differences with the different demographic characteristics. Effective measures should be taken to prevent and alleviate job burnout.
