The investigation and countermeasure of present teaching situation of evidence-based medicine on undergraduate in health management

Abstract: Objective The study aims to survey the present teaching situation of Evidence-based Medicine(EBM)in health management and explore the teaching methods to improve the teaching effect.Methods 120 undergraduate students of Weifang Medical University who selected EBM courses were given questionnaires.The knowledge,attitude,practice and barriers were compared.Results There was a significant increase of knowledge after the training;The students can not think highly of the use of literature. The“poor ability to critically appraise literatures”is the most important barrier.Conclusions Combined with the needs of health management professional Improve students'cognition,so as to make students participate in teaching and learning process. Teaching mode and content of courses should be adjusted and the evaluation of long-term effect should be made.
