Abstract: To cultivate the outstanding medical talents with the characteristics of professional elites and pillars of society, Tongji University School of Medicine constructed the cultivation system of top-notch innovative medical talents by cooperation of medical practice, teaching and research. In teaching, fulfilled the integrated curriculum based on organ systems, used formative assessment combined with summative assessment, enhanced the clinical problem based learning in medicine, established early and whole course patient contact training system. In training creative ability of research, carried out the whole course supervising system and preclinical-clinical double supervising system, established the innovation base and innovative system in three levels. Tongji University School of Medicine also established the effective quality assurance system for this cultivation system.
