Teaching behaviors of English teachers in medical universities based on production-oriented approach

Abstract: This study aims to systematically investigate the English teachers' behaviors in teaching process by combing the production-oriented approach with the practice of listening and speaking courses of medical English in Capital Medical University. The specific guidance on teaching behaviors such as design, guidance, scaffolding, management, supervision, evaluation and feedback was expounded. The effectiveness of the guidance was verified through the teaching practice which provided a solid support for expanding the application of production-oriented approach and improving the quality of medical English course.
