Research progress of clinical practice ability assessment tools for nursing students at home and abroad

Abstract: The clinical capacity of nurses is a key indicator to evaluate the quality of nursing education and teaching effect, it is an important factor that directly affects the quality of nursing and patient safety. Therefore, it is very important to choose a suitable tool for a comprehensive and accurate evaluation of the clinical capacity of nursing students. This article summarizes the tool for evaluation of clinical capacity of nursing students in China and and abroad, and describes in detail the applicable population, content items, scoring methods, reliability and validity of each evaluation tool. It aims to provide reference for nursing educators to choose right assessment tools, and lay a foundation for further improvement of clinical training of high-quality practical talents and to facilitate the development of . nursing disciplines.
