Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of conception-design-implement-operation(CDIO) mode in emergency nurses'first aid skills training. Methods All 70 nurses in emergency department were divided into observation group(35 nurses) and control group(35 nurses). The control group was trained by traditional micro-video teaching method, while the observation group was trained by CDIO mode. The training effects of the two groups were compared. Results The results of first aid knowledge assessment in the observation group were better than those in the control group [(86.46±5.27) vs. (77.57±5.60)], the comprehensive score of simulated based first aid practice in the observation group was better than that in the control group [(111.14±3.29) vs. (96.14±4.22)], the difference were all not statistically significant(all P<0.01). Conclusions The CDIO mode can effectively improve the initiative of training and learning in emergency nurses' first aid skills training process. The team cooperation, the use of first aid items and the comprehensive ability of communication in emergency nurses were also improved.
