基于案例学习教学方法在血管外科医师超声诊断和操作技能教学中的应用

摘要: 超声诊断和超声引导下操作技能是血管外科医师的必备技能。基于案例学习(case-based learning, CBL)的教学方法以案例为中心,以学员为主体,以培养学员运用基础知识分析解决问题的能力为目标,在医学教学中得到广泛应用。本研究以血管外科专科医师培训中的下肢静脉超声诊断和操作技能教学为例,阐述了CBL教学方法在该教学中的应用,探索血管外科超声诊断的模块化教学。采用模块化考核、问卷调查和座谈会的方式评价教学效果。结果表明,学员的超声初级教学模块和超声临床实践模块考试成绩优秀(大于90分);学员对CBL教学方法有助于激发对超声的兴趣、有助于迅速掌握下肢静脉超声诊断方法、有助于迅速掌握超声引导下穿刺技术方面的评价为非常满意。CBL教学方法有助于提高血管外科医师下肢静脉超声诊断和操作技能教学的教学效果,得到了学员的认可。

Abstract: Ultrasound diagnosis and ultrasound-guided operation are essential skills required for modern vascular surgeons. Case-based learning (CBL) has been implemented widely in medical education to engage students and build their capacity to analyze and solve problems using basic knowledge. The case-based training of ultrasonic diagnosis and ultrasound-guided operation for vascular surgeon residents were reported as examples to illustrate the design and implementation of comprehensive ultrasound education. The teaching was implemented in a modular mode. Clinical application tests corresponding to each modular, questionnaires survey and workshops were used to evalute and analyze the teaching results. Results suggested that all students achieved excellent clinical testing scores (scored over 90) in module elementary ultrasonic teaching and clinical practice of ultrasound. As shown in the questionnaires, all the students recognized the positive effect of the education program in terms of stimulating learning interests and being well trained in diagnostic and operational skills in a short-term course. The comprehensive case based ultrasound technology training is proven to be advantageous to improve the training of ultrasound techniques for lower extremity venous diseases among vascular surgeons and recognized by all surgery specialists.
