The effects of talent training and employment linkage teaching mode for social medicine course

摘要: 目的 探讨基于人才培养与就业联动的社会医学课程教学新模式(以下简称“新教学模式”)的实施效果。方法 2018年3月至2019年6月,选择郑州大学公共卫生学院五年制预防医学专业2014级和2015级286名本科生为研究对象,其中2015级144名学生设为试验组,采用新教学模式;2014级142名学生设为对照组,采用传统教学模式。通过比较两组学生的考核结果和问卷调查结果进行教学效果评价。结果 试验组学生的出勤率、发言率、交作业率、优秀率和总成绩均高于对照组学生[(94.8%比79.1%,92.4%比57.0%,89.3%比76.2%,61.8%比40.1%), (82.08±7.70)分比(71.37±5.00)分],且试验组学生对课程教学效果的评价均明显优于对照组学生:同意和非常同意课程知识内容印象深刻[84.7%(122/144)]、课堂活动师生参与充分[84.7%(122/144)]、课堂活动互动积极[83.3%(120/144)]等占比较高,其差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.01)。结论 在社会医学课程教学中,新教学模式取得了良好的教学效果,有助于提高学生对知识的掌握程度和课堂积极性。

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effects of talent training and employment-based education mode in social medicine course. Methods From March 2018 to June 2019, totally 286 undergraduates from five-year Preventive Medicine program of grade 2014 and 2015 in School of Public Health, Zhengzhou University, were enrolled into cohort analysis. One hundred and forty-four undergraduates from grade 2015 were assigned to new teaching mode group and 142 undergraduates from grade 2014 were assigned to traditional teaching mode group as controls. The teaching effects were evaluated by comparing the examination results and online questionnaire survey in the two groups of students. Results The rate of attendance, answering questions, homework submission, excellent of final exams and the total scores from the experimental group students are higher than those of the control group [(94.8% vs. 79.1%, 92.4% vs. 57.0%, 89.3% vs. 76.2%, 61.8% vs. 40.1%), (82.08±7.70) vs. (71.37±5.00)].Meanwhile, the students in the experimental group have got significantly better evaluations of learning outcomes from course teaching than those in the control group: the percentage of those agreed or very agreed with of course content was high [84.7%(122/144)], and also of faculty and students participation in classroom activities [84.7%(122/144)]. The percentage of interaction in classroom activities was impressive [83.3%(120/144)]. Conclusions The new teaching mode achieved good effects, which was proved to be helpful for improving students'knowledge and enthusiasm for taking classes.
