Thoughts and practice of developing new medical education

Abstract: New medical education is composed of three components including new conceptual ideas and contents, new territories and specialties, new educational model and pathway. Taking Harbin Medical University as an example, the routes for medical schools to promote new medical education are discussed, including new specialties, such as intelligent medical engineering, trans-institution collaboration to carry out medicine-engineering integrated education, curriculum optimization and new teaching model.
