Abstract: Aiming at the role and existing problems of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the prevention and treatment of corona virus disease(COVID-19), and thus to evaluate current situation and identify the shortcomings of TCM education. It is critical to emphasize the integrated innovation of traditional Chinese and western medicine. It is great worth to find a scientific position of TCM, and to strengthen TCM innovation. The key is to cultivate innovative talents by deepening the integration of production and education, and to build a new development pattern of convergent innovation of Chinese and western medicine by updating the level of TCM industry.
