Application of action-oriented teaching model based on work process in the teaching of laboratory immunology in higher vocational college

Abstract: Objective To discuss the application of action-oriented teaching mode based on work process in the teaching of laboratory immunology in higher vocational colleges.Methods Students both in class 1 and class 2 majored in medical laboratory technology specialty grade 2016 with three-year vocational education in Sichuan Vocational College of Health and Rehabilitation school were selected as the study subjects. Students in class 1 were used for experimental group, and students in Class 2 were used for control group. Action-oriented teaching model based on work process was adopted by the experimental group, and traditional teaching method was used in the control group.Results The scores of mid-term examination, the comprehensive skill test,the final examination as well as the total score of experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The experimental group students' satisfaction with the action-oriented teaching model based on work process is significantly higher than that of the control group on the traditional teaching model.Conclusions The action-oriented teaching model based on work process can not only improve the teaching effect of immunology, but also cultivate the students' comprehensive professionalism.
