Analysis of the satisfaction survey of the doctors in the job-transfer-to-pediatrics’ training

Abstract: Objective To understand the satisfaction of the first group of doctors in the job-transfer-to-pediatrics’ training, discuss the problems existing in the training, summarize the experience and deficiencies, and provide scientific and reasonable basis for the training work in the future. Methods Nineteen participants of the transfer-training program of Beijing pediatrician was investigated on the questionnaire survey, including training object personal basic situation, the satisfaction evaluation of training content, training methods, etc. At the same time, eight participants were randomly selected for the interview. Results The scores of satisfaction over the overall arrangements for the training, overall arrangements for the theory, the overall arrangements for clinical practice, various forms of learning activities, teachers’ overall level, the training management work are higher. Some reasonable suggestions are put forward about the selection of theoretical teaching materials, the setting of the contents of the doctor’s workstation, the addition of the rotation major, and the teaching attitude of the clinical teachers. Conclusions The programs of the job-transfer-to-pediatrics’ training is feasible and operable; However, individualized measures should be taken to improve the quality of training for participants.
