Abstract: Objective Simulation as a nursing educational strategy has growth in last dedicate. This study is to develop a standardized prepared checklist to enhance the quality of conducting simulation-based training. Methods The International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) standards have been recognized and adopted for developing the resource checklist for designing, implementing,or evaluating simulation-based training. A specific,22-item checklist was developed based on a content validity study and an inter-coder reliability study. Results The top 5 topics felt to be most important for achieving outcomes in the simulation were scenario development, facilitator preparation, equipment preparation, environmental preparation, and pre-course student preparation. Conclusions The main recommendations for simulation instructors are to use standardized checklists in conducting a high-fidelity simulation.
