Evaluation and thinking of test scores and examination paper for nuclear medicine course in eight years program students

Abstract: Objective To evaluate and reflection the test scores and examination paper of nuclear medicine course examination for 2004~2008 level of eight-year program medical students in Beijing University First Hospital, and to provide more scientific and reasonable exams.Methods According to grade control method, SPSS software was used to deal with the examination paper design and test scores, and analyze test difficulty and discrimination.Results 5 exam grade students average score was between 37.3~40.4 points, full score of 50 points, the average pass rate of 98.1%. The test scores showed a normal distribution. The difficulty of examination papers increased along with memory questions types reduced andObjective questions cases increased and optimized. Only at the range of appropriate high test difficulty the discrimination will tend to be good.Conclusions The course examination should pay attention to the coverage of the examination paper. The test questions would mainly be contained of master, application and case mix in order to make the appropriate high test difficulty and the good discrimination.
