Survey of the bidirectional relationship between medical postgraduates and graduate tutor in Henan Province

Abstract: In order to survey the mutual satisfaction between graduate tutor and medical postgraduates in postgraduate education,and the problem and its reasons of training in postgraduates. The supervisors and postgraduate students of 11 teaching hospitals in Henan province were surveyed with questionnaire and statistically analyzed. The graduate tutor and postgraduate students were surveyed of viewpoints on the main criteria of postgraduate training quality,training model and method and mutual satisfaction. A high degree of satisfaction among graduate tutor and graduate students was shown,but postgraduates and graduate tutors had different viewpoints on the purpose of postgraduate education and emphasis. The training model needs to be individualized for different types of postgraduate. More communication was needed to establish a healthy mode of postgraduates and their graduate tutors.
