Abstract: With an increasing emphasis on simulation-based medical education in China, recent years have seen the rapid development of simulation centers. However, low utilization rate and subpar quality of simulation-based specialist training programs are among the main problems at present. This paper summarizes the design and implemention of simulation-based specialist training programs in the simulation center of Peking University People's Hospital. The assessment results show that the theoretical and operation examination scores of the trainees after the training are (74.40±10.64) and (86.14±4.60) respectively, which are higher than scores before the training (53.92±13.84) and (70.93±11.48). The differences are statistically significant (t value is -10.64 and -11.17, all P<0.001). The specialist simulation training program has achieved good results and seeks to provide reference for the simulation-based education managers and teachers.
