Application of online live video streaming combined with offline skill training in airway management during clerkship for medical students

摘要: 目的 研究线上视频直播联合线下技能训练在医学生气道管理见习教学中的应用及其效果。方法 2022年4至6月,选取四川大学2018 级八年制临床医学专业83名参加气道管理见习的学生为研究对象,通过抽签随机分为试验组43人、对照组40人。试验组采用手术室线上视频直播联合线下技能训练的教学方法,对照组采用教师课堂讲授联合技能训练的教学方法。采用理论测试、技能评价和问卷调查比较两组的教学效果,组间比较采用Mann-Whitney U 检验和卡方检验。结果 试验组学生理论测试、单人面罩球囊通气技能和鼻咽通气道置入技能成绩高于对照组学生,分别为10.0(1.0)分比10.0(2.0)分,8.5(1.0)分比8.0(1.5)分,9.0(0.5)分比8.0(0.5)分,试验组学生学习兴趣及学习氛围的评分也高于对照组学生,分别为10.0(0.0)分比10.0(1.0)分,10.0(0.0)分比10.0(1.0)分,差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论 在气道管理见习教学中,线上视频直播联合线下技能训练对于营造良好学习氛围、提高学习兴趣、改进教学效果具有积极作用。

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the application effect of online live video streaming combined with offline skill training in airway management during clerkship for medical students. Methods From April to June 2022,eighty-three eight-year program undergraduates majoring in clinical medicine enrolled in 2018 from Sichuan University who participated in the airway management learning during clerkship were randomly divided into experimental group and control group by drawing lots. The hybrid teaching method ofoperating room online live video steaming combined with offline skill training was applied to the experimental group and the conventional pedagogy combined with offline skill training was applied to the control group. The teaching effectiveness, including scores of written examinations, skill assessment scores, and questionnaire results were analyzed, and differences of two groups were compared by the Mann-Whitney U test and χ2 test. Results The written examination scores and the skill assessment scores of single person bag mask ventilation and nasopharyngeal airway insertion of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, 10.0(1.0) vs. 10.0(2.0), 8.5(1.0) vs. 8.0(1.5), 9.0(0.5) vs. 8.0(0.5), respectively.The scores on learning interest and favorable learning atmosphere of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group 10.0(0.0) vs.10.0(1.0), 10.0(0.0) vs. 10.0(1.0), respectively. There were all statistical differences (all P < 0.05). Conclusions The hybrid teaching method of online live video streaming combined with offline skill training played a positive effect on creating favorable learning atmosphere, improving the learning interest and the teaching effectiveness in airway management clerkship.
