本科护理学专业男生职业认同现状的混合研究

摘要: 目的 通过混合研究方法调查和分析本科护理学专业男生职业认同现状,为高校开展职业认同教育提供参考依据。 方法 采用混合研究方法中的解释性序列设计,于2024年1月,通过整群抽样方法,选取贵州某医学院校本科护理学专业男生为研究对象,采用问卷调查方法了解男生职业认同现状;其后,基于调查结果,采用目的抽样法选取访谈对象,围绕男生职业观点和职业规划进行访谈,使用NVivo软件对访谈内容进行编码,采用Colaizzi分析法进行资料整理分析。 结果 共有258名男生完成调查,男生职业认同总分为(58.90±11.80)分,处于中等水平;18名男生参与访谈,提炼出个体之间职业认同差异较大、教师的言行举止的影响、男生在临床工作中的性别优势3个主题。结论 本科护理学专业男生的职业认同不高,护理教育者应当积极开展职业认同教育,注重教师榜样示范作用,引导男生树立积极的职业价值观,提高职业认同。

Abstract: Objective To explore the current status of professional identity among undergraduate male nursing students, to inform professional identity education in universities. Methods The interpretive sequence mixed method design was utilized. A cluster sampling was used to enroll male nursing students of a medical university in Guizhou Province as research subjects in January 2024, using questionnaire survey method to understand the current situation of male professional identity, afterwards,purposeful sampling was used to select male nursing students for a semi-structured interview around male career perspectives and career planning, and coded by NVivo software, the Colaizzi method was used to extract themes. Results Among the 258 students who completed the questionnaire, the total score of professional identity of male nursing students undergraduates (58.90±11.80) was at an above medium level. In the qualitative study, 3 themes were extracted, including a significant difference in professional identity among individuals, the influence of teachers′ words and actions, and the gender advantage of male students in clinical work. Conclusions The professional identity of male nursing students is not high. Nursing educators should actively carry out professional identity education, pay attention to the role model of teachers, guide male nursing students to establish positive professional values, and enhance professional identity.
