我国公共卫生硕士专业学位研究生培养现状的调查与分析

Research on current situation of talent development for Masters of Public Health in China

摘要: 目的 了解我国部分院校公共卫生硕士(Master of Public Health,MPH)专业学位研究生人才培养现状,分析存在问题并为优化培养方案提供建议意见。方法 2021年11月、2022年12月对5所院校的应届和往届MPH毕业生进行问卷调查,2023年对4所院校/机构的11名公共卫生教育专家进行半结构化访谈,调查内容包括院校课程设置、实践教学安排和公共卫生医师规范化培训等。对问卷中的计数资料采用频数和构成比分析,排序资料分析其加权平均分。结果 通过问卷星系统回收应届毕业生问卷218份,往届毕业生问卷207份。应届毕业生中有95人(43.6%)对课程设置表示一般或不满意,主要体现在实践课程内容[69人(72.6%)]、理论与实践学时的分配[53人(55.8%)]和理论课程内容[51人(53.7%)]。应届毕业生认为最有收获的是专业实践技能[194人(89.0%)]。往届毕业生在工作中遇到的问题主要为跨学科知识缺乏[118人(57.0%)]。专家强调了构建MPH核心能力体系、实施分类培养的必要性,并针对理论与实践教学中的不足提出了改进意见。结论 研究生对理论与实践课程内容的改革需求最高、对专业实践的学习需求最为迫切,跨学科知识缺乏成为工作中影响解决问题能力的首要问题;对公共卫生医师规范化培训的接受度不高。医学院校应当加强MPH培养的改革重点:建设多学科融合、实践性导向的课程体系;各环节协同强化全过程的实践能力培养;探讨分方向的MPH与公共卫生医师规范化培训并轨培养的改革。

Abstract: Objective To understand the current status of Masters of Public Health (MPH) training in China, analyze the problems, and make suggestions to optimize the training program. Methods Between November 2021 and December 2022, the survey was conducted among fresh graduates and previous graduates from 5 universities. This was followed by semi-structured interviews held in March 2023 with 11 specialists working in the field of public health education. The investigation and interviews were mainly centered around three key areas: the current situation of curriculum design, practice teaching, and standardized training provided to public health physicians. Frequency and composition analysis were used to analyze the count data in the questionnaire, and the weighted average score was analyzed for the sorted data. Results Based on the QuestionStar system, 218 questionnaires for fresh graduates and 207 questionnaires for previous graduates were collected, respectively. Among fresh graduates, 95(43.6%) expressed average or dissatisfaction with the curriculum, mainly reflected in the practical course content [69(72.6%)], the allocation of theoretical and practical class hours [53(55.8%)], and the theoretical course content [51(53.7%)]. Fresh graduates believed that the most rewarding skills are professional practical skills [194(89.0%)]. The main problems encountered by previous graduates in their work were a lack of interdisciplinary knowledge [118(57.0%)]. Experts emphasized the necessity of establishing a core competency system for MPH and implementing specialized training. They also proposed suggestions for improvement based on the shortcomings of knowledge and skills teaching and the development of competence. Conclusions Graduates have the highest demand for reform in the content of theoretical and practical courses, and the most urgent need for learning professional practice. The lack of interdisciplinary knowledge has become the primary ability problem that affects problem-solving in their work. The acceptance of standardized training for public health physicians is not high. Medical colleges and universities should strengthen the reform focus of MPH training: (1)Establish a multidisciplinary and practical oriented curriculum system; (2)Collaborate and strengthen the cultivation of practical abilities throughout the entire process in all aspects; (3)Explore the reform of integrating MPH with standardized training for public health physicians in different directions.
