Abstract: Objective To understand the current situation of online learning investment and psychological capital of nursing undergraduates, and analyze the correlation between them. Methods In August 2022, 258 fourth-year nursing students from two universities in Zhejiang Province enrolled from 2019 to 2022 were investigated with general information questionnaire, online learning investment scale and positive psychological capital scale. The data were analyzed by t-test and Pearson correlation analysis. Results The total score of online learning input of nursing undergraduates was (3.53 ± 0.58) points, and the score of emotional input dimension was the lowest [(3.40 ± 0.62) points]; the total score of psychological capital was (4.45 ± 0.79) points, with the lowest score of resilience dimension [(3.98 ± 0.83) points]; the online learning investment of nursing undergraduates was positively correlated with the level of psychological capital (r=0.56, P<0.001). Conclusions The higher the level of psychological capital of nursing undergraduates, the higher their online learning engagement. It is suggested that nursing educators should pay attention to the emotional input of nursing undergraduates during online learning process and improve their psychological resilience.
