A flipped classroom-based online teaching in human anatomy

Abstract: The flipped classroom-based online teaching mode is characterized by flexible learning in terms of time and location, aiming at students' capacity building to solve problems independently through optimization of learning outcomes. taking the teaching of thoracic anatomy as an example it describes the teaching design and implementation of an online teaching model based on the flipped classroom in the human anatomy. The results of test showed that 98.0% (96/98) of the students passed the course examination. In addition, 85.7% (84/98) of the students thought that they have improved their self-learning capacity, and 93.9% (92/98) of the students were satisfied with the curriculum by the questionnaire survey.
