Need analysis of professional Chinese learning for MBBS students and teaching countermeasures

Abstract: On the basis of summarizing the situation of Chinese teaching for foreign medical students,this paper analyzes the needs of professional Chinese learning for MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) students by referring to the demand analysis theory in English for specialized use.Through questionnaires and personal interviews,quantitative research and qualitative research were combined to analyze the Chinese learning needs of MBBS students.The results show that the Chinese studying interest and needs of MBBS students are concentrated in daily communication,doctor-patient communication and medical vocabulary.In teaching,practicality and authenticity should be paid more attention,and the improvement of listening and speaking ability will lead to the improvement of Chinese learning.
