Abstract: The core of 2G reformation of medical education is the integrated curriculum and problem-based learning.The competency-based medical education is an important feature of the 3G medical education reform.The implementation of the second-generation of medical education reform is a necessary precondition and defined as extension of the concept of competence-oriented education to the educational experience in colleges or universities.It is important to understand the relationship between the two concepts accurately based on solid coordination of medical education.
