Exploration and practice of the postgraduate course for geriatrics in Peking Union Medical College

Abstract

Abstract: Geriatrics in China is still in the initial stage. The modern concept of geriatrics needs to be popular. Department of geriatrics of Peking Union Medical College started up the postgraduate elective courses of geriatrics since 2013, held once a year. This paper summarizes and discusses the curriculum setting, teaching methods, feedback message and existing problems of postgraduate courses for geriatrics in the past 4 years, in order to provide the experience for the development of geriatric education in postgraduate.
