Abstract: Objective To investigate the behavior change plan (BCP) in changing the adverse health behavior in medical student. Methods 332 undergraduate students of 2015 and 2016 grade participated in a BCP. Participants were required to set a goal, tracked progress, and self-assessed success. Results 90.4%(300/332) undergraduate students selected exercise, sleep or study/work habits as their behavior change target. 57.2%(190/332) undergraduate students achieved their goal, 73.5%(244/332) undergraduate students indicated they would use the process again. Medical students show positive attitude to BCP, the study pressure and high expectation value are the main causes of the failure of the BCP. Conclusions BCP could improve medical student unhealthy life behavior.
