Comparative studies on postdoctoral education between China and America

Abstract: Postdoctoral training started earlier in America, and has relatively mature experience. Based on the analysis and comparison of postdoctoral management mechanism, development scale, funding aid, training quality and effect between China and America, several policy recommendations were put forward,such as establishing the funding mechanism with multi-channel, and stepping up publicity efforts to encourage social financing. Furthermore, the process of postdoctoral training should be perfected to improve the training quality.
